Linus sends an economy booster to Snoopy's Scavengers but they want to end it by spitting and slobbering all over it.
Lins writes a letter to the Great Pumpkin and says that he's bitter because he's disappointed but is glad that he is young and can stand the disappointments.
Charlie Brown brings the Scavenger's food shipment and then ask if they want Roquefort or Thousand Island to drink.
Lins is reading "The Brothers Karamazov" and is asked by Luucy if the Russian names bother him and he says that when he can't pronounce one he bleeps right over it.
Snoop oversleeps because his sundial doesn't go off. Chuck then forces Snoop to get an alarm clock instead of a sundial.
Lins' son starts reading the letters of Apostle Paul but it makes him feel guilty like he is reading someone else's mail.
Luucy says that she would hate to be a newborn baby in the world with everything that is going on and Chuck says that is why they don't give them newspapers for two years.
